Meet SPIbelt Ambassador Ashley

Hi, I’m Ashley! Running, hiking, and traveling was always a big part of my life, but when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2017 I was worried it would keep me from living an active lifestyle. I was determined to not let it hold me back, and began training for a 5K one month after I was released from the hospital. After lots of trial and error and a few scary low blood sugars I completed my first 5K with T1D just three months later. That race proved that I could still be me. I continued pushing myself to run farther distances and completed a 10K in 2018. My goal for 2019 is to complete a 15K and ultimately a half marathon.

What is your biggest goal for 2019?

Travel to a different country.

What is your favorite SPIbelt product?
