Meet SPIbelt Ambassador Hannah

My name is Hannah Adamson. I’m from a small town outside of Wichita, Kansas, and no, Kansas is not as flat as most people think! I was never athletic as a child and was overweight all of my adult life. I started running in 2013 when my then 5-year-old son wanted to run a 5K. I was surprised how hard I fell in love with running. The rush of getting faster, fitter, stronger, and making and meeting goals thrilled me. Since that first 5K, I have run countless 5Ks and 10ks, a handful of half marathons, and one marathon. I’ve also done several sprint triathlons. 2019 is going to be an awesome year! I have some big goals, but my number one goal is to run happy and injury free!

Q & A

What is your biggest goal for 2020?

I want to PR my 5K and 10K. I’m focusing on shorter distances and cross training more, including more strength training to prevent injury.

What is your favorite SPIbelt Product

The Large Pocket SPIbelt. I use one every single time I run. I love my big phone and it fits perfectly with a key, my ID, and credit card for emergencies.

What is the coolest place you’ve taken your SPIbelt?

I took my SPIbelt messenger bag on a solo trip to Washington D.C. It was perfect to hold my phone, wallet, and camera.

When I’m not wearing my SPIbelt running or biking, I’m a children’s librarian and I LOVE my job!
