Meet SPIbelt Ambassador Michelle
I came to distance running late – didn’t start until my early 40s, but I’m so glad I did. As a mom to two great boys and a lovable German Shepherd, running and working out help to keep me balanced and sane as I juggle busy work and family life! The one thing you can control in every situation is your attitude. I try to remember that every day, in every moment, I have a choice about what attitude I will embrace. When I decided to start running, I knew the physical conditioning was only part of the challenge – the other side was mental. So I promised myself I’d go into this journey always bringing the best possible attitude. As I see my hard work paying off, it motivates me to keep pushing my boundaries. I’m also motivated to set an example for my boys. I think it’s important for them to see their mom set goals and go after them, and that even if I don’t succeed that I gave it my best effort.
