I really had high hopes and wanted to love the SPI belt and H2O companions. I'm in a never ending search for a good water belt for long distance running. The SPI belt alone (without water bottles)tends to ride up so needs to be frequently adjusted although does tend to be more comfortable then others I have. When adding the H2O companion (I used 2 bottles) the belt was more secure but the bottles needed to be adjusted occasionally. I have to position them on the front/side of my hips. If positioned on the back/side of hips it would pull the belt down. So, overall OK and I do like it better than my Nathan and Aspire water belts but still was hoping for better.
I wish it held more water but appreciate it not jostling around while I run! Stays in place well on the belt. Maybe just buy two and have 1 on each side for longer runs or if you don’t cross paths with a refill station :)
They clip to my waistband and don’t move. Can run with two at a time. The best.
I’ve used Spibelts for 18 years. I love how they don’t move around, hold everything I need for a long or short run and they’re comfortable. This is the first time I’ve purchased a belt with 2 pockets…it’s wonderful!!
Perfect amount of water for shorter runs. And it stays on the belt amazingly with no bouncing.
