Update: I received instant feedback from Amanda in customer service. She suggested my belt might have had the wrong label on it. I took it to the store and discovered she was correct. I now have the one I ordered and it does fit well.

    Thanks Amanda

Just purchased the large pocket belt. It says it fits a 25″ – 47″ Waist. I have a 34-36 waist and no way does the belt fit. 5’10, 160 lbs.

I have extended it to full length and no way would I be able to run wearing this

Love it for my diabetes supplies. Makes exercise and adventures easier. Disneyland is so much nicer without carrying a big bag around. I am type 1 diabetic. It holds my iphone 6 with otterbox case with spare battery, glucometer, lancet device, strips in container, gauze, insulin pen and pen tips, and a couple fruit source bars, glucose tabs and also holds a few keys, bank card and id. With all that in it it is a bit bulky but so much nicer than a fanny pack and easier than a back pack. It would be nice for separation compartments or tabs inside it to hold lancet or keys and car so they don’t fall out when I just need insulin pen or phone but it’s the first thing I’ve found that is so idea. This should he given you everyone needing medical devices. I can angel it and put it under my shirt part way and it’s barely noticeable. But got a nice print to don’t mind showing it off. I would guess 4.5 stars if it let me as a main benefit would include tabs to hold extras in or pockets. Maybe a double pocket with the large pocket would be a good medical grade option. Not sure.

I really enjoy spibelts for travel, they are easy for money, passports, phones, etc. and they are very comfortable that you would not even know they were there (my boyfriend once got in a pool with his because he forgot he was wearing it). I just ordered two as gifts, but if you are sending to Canada don’t forget its still shown in American dollars; I forgot that so it was more expensive than I thought…

Large pocket is the perfect size for my wife’s chemo pump. So much more discrete than the supplied case or a fanny pack! Thank you SPI team!

I just love my SPIbelt. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6 Plus and it fits perfectly in my large pocket SPIbelt even with a Speck case on it. I don’t even know I am wearing it. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who runs with their phone on them.

These belts are great for anyone who doesn’t like restrictive armbands. They seem to be made of quality material that will hold up for years. I had to send two orders back for a total of four belts in exchange for the large pocket belts (IPhone 6 compatible). I spoke with Amanda whom was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made the process run very smoothly with little turnaround time. From the product itself to the customer service, this company is on point! Thanks again.

I just got the large pocket belt and while the description says it will fit up to a 56″ waist I had to extend it to it’s full length to fit my 38″ waist and at that it’s rather snug. That’s the only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating. Otherwise the belt works as advertised and it’s an American made product so you can feel good about buying it..

It is big enough for a small gun! That might sound like “crazy talk”, but I run in mountain lion country. I could never find something to hold my gun that didn’t bounce around or was too bulky. The belt and pouch are snug against my body.

Ordered and received in 1 business day, wow! Thanks for the quick shipping! My son, a Type 1 diabetic, used the diabetic SpiBelt for the past year for his Insulin pump and loved it. But this year, he entered the 6th grade and has frequent class changes, making it difficult to transfer his meter, strips, lancing device, etc. from class to class (unlike 5th grade where he was in the same room everyday.) So we decided to get this Large Pocket Spibelt, and it fits his pump, meter, 1 container of test strips, 1 lancing device, 12 extra lancets, 1 container of glucose tablets, a granola bar, and about 10 alcohol wipes nicely. He wears it all day and it is hardly noticeable. I give it 5 stars, but note to SpiBelt folks – it would be even better if you had internal pockets so the items could be held in place (such as a separate internal pocket for the pump,) and if you offered the option of a hole in the back similar to the diabetic Spibelt for his tubing. We sewn a hole in the back ourselves, so now it’s even better. Now he has his pump AND medical supplies with him all day at school, even in PE class. For other parents thinking about getting this for the same reasons as we did, I think you will find it works well. One thing though, you will need to put the meter and supplies in the belt individually and not use the case that came with the meter, otherwise it looks too bulky. Thanks Spibelt for helping solve our problem and keeping my son safe at school!

I have had the belt for over three weeks and am very satisfied. I run 4.5 miles per day and the belt is WAY BETTER than the arm band holders. I was very skeptical about the feel and bounce of the belt. It does not bounce at all and the feel is great. I place the pocket (off midline) for better comfort. It holds my iPhone, keys and ID very well. Great purchase on my part.

I love my new SPIbelt!. So much better and less bulky than a fanny pack or an arm band. There is plenty of room for my cell phone with an Otterbox Defender case, id, credit card, and cash. It is sleek and there is no bounce. Thanks again!

I have bought a number of spibelts. I love them. My husband loves his as well. Gave some as Christmas presents. I had the original size but am going to try the large pocket one this time. I bought the first ones off of QVC.

This large pocket belt is perfect for my iphone 4s in a large “Lifeproof” case. Very hard to find anything to carry it in. I originally had the original spibelt and that pocket was hard to get the case in an out. I also have the Endurance series spibelt with a 7.5″ pocket. The pocket is large enough for the iPhone case, but the wider buckle is constantly pinching my fingers even when I try to avoid the pinch. The “Large Pocket” spi belt is much larger (8 or 8.5 ” ) than the “original” and wonderful. It has the narrower buckle (I never get pinched with it) and more slim line if I don’t want it to show much under my shirt.

I have the huge Galaxy Note 2 and a bulky case. This SPI Belt fits my phone, an energy bar, and my keys while running with no bounce or trouble. Great product.

SPIbelt is the preferred carrier for my daughter’s EpiPen. The large belt easily holds 2 EpiPens and Benadryl (and cash and a small cell phone as well). The belt does not bounce, is not bulky, and she forgets it is on much of the time. I did attach a zipper pull medic alert tag to it to alert any medical personell in case of emergency

I love mine, but I wish the large-pocket version came in as many options as the smaller one does. I run, and it holds my smartphone, Epi-Pen, keys, and sometimes my sunglasses and any food I need to eat on longer runs.

Love it so much, I am ordering two kids belts for my young ones. This bag is perfect for hands free security. I work as a consultant in public schools and recently had my cell phone stolen on site. Now, I keep my iphone, license, chapstick on my side. No more bags on the floor. The bag is sleek and city chic, I can wear it on my hip or across my shoulders for weekend night outings. I can even fit my shades in it!

Does SPIbelt bounce when full?
For best results, position your SPIbelt™ below your waistband. Place flat and larger items closest to your body. The heavier the items the more snuggly you’ll want to adjust the elastic on your SPIbelt. A standard load consists of a smart phone, cash, ID, and car key.

How do I wear my SPIbelt?
Here are some suggestions on how to wear a SPIbelt™ for comfort, style, and best fit! Make sure the zipper is aligned in the center of the pocket instead of having the zipper at the top. Stack items from largest to smallest from bottom to top. The SPIbelt can be wore high or low on the hips. We find most people prefer lower on the hips (a few inches below the navel). Don’t forget to make sure that the elastic is snug!

Is SPIbelt washable?
Yes. Hand wash with a mild detergent and hang to dry. Care concerns: machine washing and drying your SPIbelt™ may lead to fabric snags and broken plastic.

What size SPIbelt should I buy?
We offer three sizes of SPIbelts™.
    - The Kids' SPIbelt fits a child with a 18"–24" waist size (all Kids' SPIbelts come in Non-Logo elastic).
    - Adult SPIbelts fit a 24"–47" waist size.
    - The SPIbelt Belt Extender™ extends your SPIbelt’s elastic by up to 12 inches. NOTE: The Belt Extender is not compatible with the Endurance Series SPIbelt™, the SPI H2O™ Venture Series, the Kids’ SPIbelt, and the SPI Messenger Bag™.

Can I attach a racing bib (number) to my SPIbelt? If so, which models?
Yes, a race number can be attached to all SPIbelts, but you will need to purchase a set of Race Bib Toggles that loop around the elastic of your SPIbelt™.

The SPI H2O™ Venture Series and the SPIbelt™ Endurance Series are the only two products that come with Race Bib Toggles.

How to use:
    - Squeeze
    - Loop one end of cord around belt.
    - Insert one end of cord through hole on bib.
    - Squeeze toggle and insert both ends of cord into toggle hole.
    - Repeat on the other side.

Is SPIbelt sweat-proof or waterproof?
IMPORTANT: SPIbelt™ products are NOT waterproof. Items may be exposed to moisture. We recommend the use of a waterproof aLokSak® resealable bag if using with electronics or other small personal items that must remain dry.

Are SPIbelts reflective?
The Reflective SPIbelt™ has a reflective pocket and elastic for 360° reflectivity. The SPI H2O™ Venture Series and SPIbelt™ Endurance Series both have reflective accents.

Can I still listen to music on my phone when it is in the SPIbelt? Is there an opening for the cord?
Yes, you can still listen to music when your phone is in your belt.  You have two options. The Diabetic SPIbelt™ has a pass through hole securely sewn in the back of the pocket through which you can feed your headphone cord. However, many of our customers buy the Original SPIbelt and feed let the headphone cord through the end of the pocket without fully pulling the zipper closed.

Does Bluetooth work with my SPIbelt?
Yes. Bluetooth headphones are compatible with SPIbelts and have no issues with connectivity while running.
