The elastic on this belt is 1.5" wide, 50% broader than the Original SPIbelt.

I first tried the pro with two pockets, but I was curious to try this one so I could just pull at my gels during my next race! The pocket is extra sturdy on this version of the pro belt with a nice waterresistant lining and my gels stayed perfect within the slots which really did make it easier to fuel during my 9 miler last week! Just pull, rip and go! I also still love the water bottles. Mine never leak as long as I have them tightened properly and the cap pushed down the whole way!
The SPIbelt Distance Pro is a game-changer for long runs and races. With the expandable pocket, it comfortably holds my phone, keys, and any other essentials without bouncing or feeling bulky. The additional gel loops are a great touch for easy access to fuel on the go. The adjustable fit stays secure without riding up, and I barely notice it while running. Haven't used the fluid yet but if you need a lightweight, comfortable, and functional running belt, this is it.
I fell in love with this belt! As a back of the pack runner, I need lots of fuel for me to finish strong. I have other Spibelts--I love the wider belt and the Pro quality pouch, but the loops were a game changer for me, since I don't have to stuff all my gels into the pouch. Not to mention the added water bottles that slide right onto the belt--I was skeptical at first but they didn't budge for 13.1 miles!
The only way I would improve this is to make it in more colorways!! (Tie dye, Rave, Lime green, Paintball...pretty please!)
